Who We Are
ReFocus Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational Christian church affiliated with the Independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ (instrumental). As part of a nationwide fellowship of nearly 6,000 congregations with over 1 million members, we share a common commitment to restoring the simplicity and power of New Testament Christianity.
We proudly consider ourselves an evangelical church, grounded in the belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of Godand the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Originally founded in the early 1900s as the Follansbee Church of Christ, our roots are deeply planted in the Restoration Movement. As such, we celebrate the living presence of Jesus every week by partaking in Communion together. We also believe that baptism is a vital part of the salvation process, as taught in Scripture.
